Method Indicator: Dimensions and indicators (IVETTE)
Description The scope and nature of the issues of virtual learning environment (VLEs) addressed by the IVETTE project needed a holistic perspective of study and discussion. The main dimensions and indicators studied were:

Institutional dimension:

  • institutional innovation policies; 
  • management/ organisational issues; 
  • models of implementation of virtual campuses at Institutions;
Teaching/ learning dimension:
  • new roles in a telematics-network-like environments: 
  • organisation of learning;
  • knowledge with meaning in VLEs; 
European diversity and integration dimension:
  • collaboration Frameworks; 
  • curriculum and accreditation problems; 
  • culture and language issues in trans-European courses.
