Method Literature review (WHOLE)
Description The project examines alternative policies for facilitating the acquisition of work process knowledge by human resource development, the design of new technologies and organisational development. 

This document is a literature review of European research and policy analysis relating to the main themes of the project. It encompasses the following topics: 

  • the nature of work process knowledge;
  • the sustainability of economic development;
  • organizational changes that affect the nature of work processes;
  • the mutual shaping of technology and society;
  • knowledge and learning in organizations;
  • collective working practices;
  • adaptation of the work force to technological and organizational changes;
  • perspectives on skill and competence."
