Method Model: European training model (SFIDE)
Description "From analysis of the various regional situations, it is possible to define a number of criteria capable of representing a 'European' model of training, a model that is gradually taking shape and is largely common to the regional situations of the various countries participating in the project. The model is characterised by 10 key concepts:
  1. guidance and conscious choices (skills audit);
  2. subjectivity in the definition of training syllabuses;
  3. teaching guides the learning process;
  4. training as the natural priority channel for entry to the labour market;
  5. specialisation of the training channels giving access to the labour market;
  6. continuous adjustment between demand and supply of skills;
  7. reciprocal compatibility between the skills acquired in aducation, training and at works;
  8. making the most of diversity, benchmarking of values, culture and professional skills;
  9. certification of trainers and their professional development through continuous training;
  10. programming and planning of training demand and processes, the principle of subsidiarity in the division of responsibilities between centre and periphery."
