This is to draw your attention to calls for papers announced for European conferences taking place in 2008.

HRD Conference
The 9th International Conference on HRD Research and Practice Across Europe will be held in Lille, France at IÉSEG from 21 to 23 May 2008, on the theme "Developing Leaders and Managers". You are invited to submit abstracts (250-300 words) for refereed papers, working papers, practitioner papers; and proposals (250 words) for other forms of presentation (round tables, symposia, poster sessions). Please send them to hrd@ieseg.fr by 14 December 2007. More details can be found on the conference website at http://www.ieseg.fr/hrd/.

ECER/ VETNET
The European Conference on Educational Research, including the VETNET programme, will take place at Göteborg in Sweden from 10 to 12 September 2008. The call for proposals and further details are available on the conference website at http://www.ipd.gu.se/english/ecer2008/. The strict deadline for the completed proposal form and abstract is 1 Februay 2008.

Proceedings of the previous ECER VETNET papers, provided in collaboration between the VETNET Board and WIFO, are now available online for the years 1998 to 2007 (www.ecer-vetnet.wifo-gate.org). Alongside the annual presentation of papers, the proceedings include an updated index of the papers (present total 275), arranged by author, country and keyword, and a complete list of papers (author/ title/ year) for downloading. This new resource will help identify the growing store of knowledge emerging in European VET research.
